Will AI and VR Save the World?
In a remarkable of confluence of technologies, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR) have entered into mainstream commerce after decades of fits and starts. There is a cacophony of voices in the popular press - some of it ill-informed journalistic speculation. A digital divide exists between engineers who understand the technology, and the general public who approach it with awe and wariness.
